چکیده

Individuals with chronic low back pain (LBP) report impaired somatosensory function and balance. However, there is a lack of investigation on limb motion similarities between subjects without LBP during gait. The aim this study was to compare gait parameters as well combined motions using the kinematic similarity index (KSI) LBP. Twenty-two 19 age- body mass index-matched control participated in study. cycle were compared those prototype derived from healthy subjects. calculations resulted response vectors that analyzed comparison control-derived for normalized at 5% increments cycle. results our indicated KSI group demonstrated higher swing (t = 4.23, p 0.001) stance 6.26, phases group. whole significantly different groups 6.52, 0.001), especially midstance phases. could have adjusted patterns these specific useful clinical outcome measures differentiate changes demonstrate quantified It warranted validate analysis physiological asymmetry larger sample future studies.

Analysis of Symmetry of Weight-Bearing in Athletes With and Without Low Back Pain during Gait

Background. Low Back Pain (LBP) is a prevalent phenomenon in athletes and asymmetrical loading on the limbs has been proposed as a risk factor related to this disease. Objectives. The purpose of the present study was to compare the asymmetry of loading applied on the legs between men with and without LBP during gait. Methods. A total of 40 participants, comprising 20 men with non-specific LBP...

ABSTRACT Study design: A cross-sectional non-experimental study. Objectives: To collectively detect the reliability and feasibility of the five types of clinical tests that have been used to measure endurance of the trunk muscles in subjects with and without low back pain (LBP) and identifY the sensitivity of each test to predict the probability of the occurrence ofLBP. Background: Testing spi...

A comparative study of trunk proprioception between patients with chronic non-specific low back pain and discopathic low back pain

Introduction: Low back pain is one of the most common disorders in modern society. Disturbed properioception can be a possible cause of low back pain and can cause recurrence of low back pain. Previous studies have shown that low back pain reduces proprioception due to instability in the low back. Since the degenerative process of disc herniation is one of the important factors in exacerbating ...
